The Bantams Supporters’ Trust welcomes you, the fans, getting involved in campaigns that we feel passionate about in ensuring not only improved facilities at the club that can improve atmosphere at the ground, but also that the club maintains affordable ticket prices for generations to come. Football fans across the world are the vital organ of any club, so much so that without fans we believe football is nothing. Therefore we welcome fans coming forward with ideas and initiatives that can improve the match-day experience. Your ideas could be things like improving the food and drink prices at the kiosks, improving the choice of merchandise at the club shop, ideas about match-day prices or safe standing to improve the atmosphere.
Whilst there are many things to improve on for the match-day experience, there are also wider issues of financial stability for our club. Bradford City Supporters Trust has a proud record of raising money for the club when it has been in great financial difficulty and we continue to support the Club through sponsorship and donations, raised through the generosity of our members and, as we move forward, seeking out grant-funding for projects that benefit the community. As fans of Bradford City, we all seek to achieve long-term financial sustainability for our great club. We applaud the efforts of FOBCFC in actively fund-raising for specific projects.
Today there are many supporters trusts giving their support to football clubs across Britain, reflecting in many ways the financial instability many clubs have experienced often caused by financial mismanagement. This leads us to the view that fans should be represented at the highest possible level of decision making at the Club. Here at Bradford City, the Trust has had direct channels of communication with the Board and more recently is represented by its Chair on the Supporters Board. This ensures that there is a means of ensuring that fans voices are heard and their views and needs are taken into account in the Club's decision making processes.
